SAC Member pays homage to Kyaikmaraw stupa, Kyaikthanlan pagoda in Mon State

State Administration Council Member Mahn Nyein Maung along with ministers of the Mon state government and officials arrived at the Phayagyi monastery in kyaikmaraw yesterday. They paid homage and made donations to the monastery.
They also paid homage to the Kyaikmaraw Buddha image, observing historical Buddha statues, stupas, ancient stone inscriptions, ancient buildings and mural paintings in the precincts of the Kyaikmaraw Buddha image.
The SAC member along with Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, South-East Command Commander Brig-Gen Soe Min, state ministers then paid homage to the Kyaikthanlan Pagoda. They viewed Buddha statues, decorative upright leaves along the retaining wall and ancient buildings at the Kyaikthanlan Pagoda. — MNA/KZW
