SAC members attend marionette, modern song contests

SAC members watch the performing arts competition in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

State Administration Council Member U Moung Har enjoyed the competition of contestants in the marionette play event which was held at the Plenary Hall of the Myanmar International Convention Centre-MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
In the marionette play amateur-level men’s/women’s (second class) event, contestants delivered the artistic performance portraying the Myanmar traditional choreography, various postures and gestures, by controlling prince, princess and Zawgyi statues string puppets skillfully.
On the same afternoon, SAC Member U Sai Lone Seng watched the modern songs contest which took place at the Signing Room of the Myanmar International Convention Centre-MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw.
It is learnt that contestants participated in the basic education-level men’s (aged 15 to 20) event and higher education-level women’s modern song event. — MNA
