The meeting on the accuracy of basic voter lists in Kayin State is in progress yesterday.

A meeting on the accuracy of basic voter lists in Kayin State was held at the state government meeting hall yesterday.
It was attended by State Administration Council Members Mahn Nyein Maung and Saw Daniel, Union ministers, the state chief minister and cabinet members and officials of the departments concerned.
First, SAC member Mahn Nyein Maung highlighted the last facts out of the SAC Five-point Roadmap, household list and certain certificates for election, efforts of the Ministry of Immigration and Population in issuing the identity cards and cooperation of the departments concerned and UEC in verifying the ground population census for the accuracy of the basic voter lists.
Then, Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing reported on the work processes of the Pankhinn Project and other activities for the accuracy of voter lists.
Afterwards, the state chief minister and officials concerned clarified the completion of verification of the ground population census and other matters.—MNA
