Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspected the Tatmadaw (Army) Warrant Officer and Non-Commissioned Officer Training Depot in Hmawby Station yesterday morning.
The Vice-Senior General inspected offices, trainee lecture halls and training halls of the training office of the depot and left necessary instructions.
The acting commandant of the depot reported on the implementation of four military building tasks and training affairs. The Vice-Senior General attended to the needs.
The Vice-Senior General and party had lunch together with female trainees of the computer diploma sergeant/clerk (female) course of the training depot.
He then inspected raising layers, breeding broilers and pigs and seasonal crop farms of the training depot.
At the Tatmadaw Football Factory in Hmawby, the Vice-Senior General heard reports on the functions of the factory from factory manager Daw Kathy and gave instructions on manufacturing quality football and volleyball products, seeking market shares for the products, raising the sale of products, maintaining of machines and operating the factory at full capacity and attended to the needs.
The Vice-Senior General inspected the production process of footballs and presented cash assistance for employees of the factory through the factory manager.
The factory manufactures 74,000 footballs for adults, 62,000 volleyballs for adults and 152,000 footballs for youths, totalling 288,000 per year.
At Tatmadaw Biscuit and Noodle Factory (Hmawby), factory manager Major Kyaw Phyo Wai (Retd) reported on a brief history of the factory and the production process. The Vice-Senior General gave instructions on the production of quality products, seeking market shares for products, systematic packaging for attracting consumers, operating the factory at full capacity, maintenance and distribution of foods to the market as well as Tatmadaw families at fair prices and fulfilled the needs.
They then viewed the production process of biscuits and noodles and presented cash assistance for staff through the factory manager.
The Vice-Senior General and party inspected local regiments and units in Hmawby Station, cordially conversed with the families, coordinated with officials for necessary measures and presented cash awards to them. — MNA
