Sagaing Region approves K8.24 billion for four Myanmar citizens’ investments

The Investment Committee of Sagaing Region hosted its 4/2023 meeting at the meeting hall of region government office on 21 April.
First, Committee Chairman Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw said the committee approved four Myanmar citizens’ investments amounting to K8.24 billion in 2022-2023 FY and it created 339 job opportunities. It also supervised 46 companies and extended the construction period of 20 enterprises that cannot run properly after seeking the approvals.
He also talked about the broadcasting of assembly and distribution of Maha Nilar two/three wheeled motorcycles via the website of investment committee, YouTube and Facebook page and the needs to work together to lure the investment in industry, agriculture, livestock and service sectors of the region.
Then, Director Daw May Myo Zaw of region Directorate of Investment and Company Administration briefed the meeting on the completed work processes and field studies conducted in March and other attendees participated in the discussion.—Region IPRD/KTZH
