School for children, housing for locals in Yathedaung Township, Rakhine State

Photo taken on Friday of a modular house and a two-roomed toilet provided for those at Anaukpyin camp of Anaukpyin village in Yathaedaung Township which is accessible by a 40-mile boat trip from Sittwe of Rakhine State. A total of 155 people from 32 households of the village who lost their homes in the communal conflict in 2012 are being accommodated at four eight-roomed buildings. According to data dated 31-8-2014, the village had been provided with farm equipment, diesel fuel and bags of paddy strain and chemical fertilizer. Paddy growing and fishery is the main source of livelihood for people in the area.
