Schools bombed; Schoolbooks set on fire by terrorists in Sagaing, Ayeyawady regions

Terrorists who do not want to see that children are learning in peace committed vandalism and arson attacks on schools in Sagaing and Ayeyawady regions on 27 December.
At around 8 am on 27 December, terrorists spread gasoline on the two-storey school building (Basic Education High School Branch) in Taungphila ward, Kalay Township, Sagaing Region, however, it was intact-not destroyed by fire.
On the same day, terrorists set fire on the books stored in the Basic Education Middle School Branch in Thaephyu village in Mawlamyinekyun Township, Ayeyawady Region.
Similarly, terrorists threw bottles of gasoline at the Basic Education High School Branch in Myanandar ward in Bamauk, Sagaing Region, at around 7:20 pm but the school was intact-not damaged by fire.
At around 3:45 pm, PDF terrorist groups planted three homemade mines at the junction of the Pyidaungsu Road and GTC Road near the Nambawan (A) ward administration office in Loikaw, Kayah State, three homemade mines, at the junction of the Bobwa Yeiktha Road and GTC Road, to attack the students. Security forces found and deactivated them.
It is reported that security forces are working to take effective action against the perpetrators under the law, according to MPF. — MNA
