SEA Games Football: Myanmar Men and Women teams’ matches to be played today

The Group matches of the SEA Games will be played today and there will be two important Myanmar matches to advance to the semi-finals.
Myanmar men’s national football team will take on Viet Nam at 6:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time and the Philippines team will play against the Indonesia team at 3:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
The Myanmar team’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals can only be sustained if the Myanmar team holds at least a draw or win against Viet Nam.
Viet Nam beat Indonesia 0-0 in the first leg but unexpectedly drew with the Philippines to advance to the semi-finals.
Likewise, Group B matches of the 31st SEA Games Women’s Football Tournament will continue today and the match between Myanmar and Thailand is important for the first place in the group.
In Group B, only Myanmar and Thailand are almost certain to reach the semi-finals.
Myanmar will play against Thailand at 6:30 pm and Singapore will take on Laos at 3:30 pm of Myanmar Standard Time. —Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
