Secretariat Yangon to host Thadingyut Market Fair

The Thadingyut market fair will be held in October at the Secretariat Yangon, formerly the ministers’ office, in Botahtaung Township, Yangon Region, according to Dora Entertainment, the organizer of the early-monsoon market event.
The fair will take place from 16 to 18 October at the Secretariat Yangon Heritage Market Hall, featuring over 100 booths showcasing food items, consumer goods, and various other products.
“This venue is easily accessible, with a spacious and attractive parking lot. Therefore, the fair is held annually each season. We are planning to host the Thadingyut market fair on 16, 17, and 18 October. Interested entrepreneurs are invited to participate. The number of designated booths is nearly 100, although the exact number of shops and items for sale may vary,” said Daw Thazin Soe, an organizer with Dora Entertainment.
The fair will also feature a Baby Talent Show as part of its entertainment programme, along with music performances by renowned artists. Additionally, free pottery and vase painting activities will be available for all children under the age of two at the Pot Villa in the Victoria Ladder Room. — ASH/MKKS
