The Myanmar military delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrived back in Yangon on Wednesday after attending the 12th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting (12th ACDFIM) hosted by Malaysia.
The military delegation was welcomed back at Yangon International Airport by Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Malaysian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E Mohd Haniff Bin Abd Rahman and officials.
The Senior General and delegation members were seen off at Subang Airport in Kuala Lumpur by Maj-Gen Dato’ Hanafiah Jaafar, Assistance Chief of Staff of Defence Logistic, Brig-Gen Dato’ Mohd Azmi Borhan, Armed Forces Provost Marshall, and the Myanmar Ambassador to Malaysia and military attaché.
During his stay in Malaysia, the Commander-in-Chief attended a dinner hosted by Chief of Defence Force of Malaysia General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Zulkifeili Bin Mohd Zin and wife on Tuesday.Also present at the dinner were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Commander-in-Chief, Myanmar military delegation members, Chiefs of Defence Forces of ASEAN countries and their wives and members.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing enjoyed dinner with the Chiefs of Defence Forces of ASEAN countries. After the dinner, the Commander-in-Chief and wife posed for documentary photos together with Chiefs of Defence Forces of ASEAN countries and their wives and exchanged gifts.
