Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal B. S. Dhanoa, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, VM, ADC at the Zeya Thiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the meeting matters relating to increasing and strengthening friendship between Myanmar-India armed forces, sharing experiences of the two air forces, cooperation in training and defending air spaces, works on maintaining peace and stability along the border of the two countries, exchanging friendly visits between the two armed forces and increasing relations between the two countries were discussed.
Present at the meeting with the Senior General were Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers and the Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal was accompanied by senior officers from the Indian Air Force, Indian Defence Attache to Myanmar Colonel Naveen Mahajan and officials according to a news release from the Tatmadaw News. — MNA
