Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Mr Lee Sang-hwa, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Myanmar, at the Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to multi-sector cooperation between the Republic of Korea and ASEAN countries, Myanmar’s role as an ASEAN country and the important role of cooperation between ASEAN and Asian countries.
They also discussed matters related to the Tatmadaw’s efforts for ending internal armed conflicts, the ROK’s investment and economic cooperation for Myanmar’s development, promoting bilateral relations between the two armed forces, and technical and training cooperation, according to the news released by the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.—MNA
