Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits shipyard, e-Education group in Bangkok

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the Tatmadaw delegation are in Bangkok, Thailand, to attend the Defence and Security 2019 event after departing from Yangon on Sunday.

Yesterday, the Senior General first visited Marsun Public Company Ltd and observed its shipyard. The company was founded in 1980 and has delivered over 310 various types of vessels. These include Passenger Ferries, Motor Yachts, and Fast Patrol Craft.
Next, the Senior General visited iGroup Ltd, which focuses on E-Education. The iGroup (Asia Pacific) Limited, is a Hong Kong registered multinational organisation with offices spanning 14 countries in the Asia Pacific region and with a total staff force of over 1200.
They provide e-Journals, e-Books, e-Library and database services. Interestingly, iGroup was founded by Myanmar-born Mr Pote Narittakurnle, who started working in Thailand 30 years ago, according to information released by the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.—MNA
