Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla visited armed forces personnel who were receiving medical treatment at the Military Hospital in Meiktila Station on Tuesday, comforting the patients and their families.
The senior general and party inquired about the health of the patients and presented cash assistance and foods, while the senior general visited female patients at the hospital and offered cash assistance and food.
Afterwards, the commander of the military hospital reported to the senior general on medical and administrative requirements.
Later, the senior general and party inspected the Defence Service Textile Factory (Meiktila) and heard reports on production of the factory.
The senior general urged the factory officials to exert efforts to make high quality products and ensure the welfare of factory workers.
The senior general and party also inspected the runway of the Ground Training Base in Meiktila.
The senior general and his wife were accompanied by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Thura Thet Swe, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Khin Aung Myint, senior officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and Commander of Central Command Maj-Gen Soe Htut.
