Senior Tatmadaw officers, officials assist in rehabilitation work in Rakhine State

Under Section 11 of the Natural Disaster Management Law, the State Administration Council declared the areas damaged by Cyclone Mocha as areas affected by natural disasters and appointed senior military officers to carry out rehabilitation activities in the areas mentioned in the announcement.
Lt-Gen Min Naing, currently in Haka City in Chin State along with officials inspected medical care processes at Haka General Hospital and provided foodstuffs to the patients.
And, Lt-Gen Lu Aye, currently in Kyaukpyu Township, along with officials inspected the schools and cyclone shelters in Kyaukpyu Township,
Similarly, Lt-Gen Aye Win, currently in Buthidaung Township along with officials, attended a coordination meeting to carry out rehabilitation activities for damage in the storm at the meeting hall of the General Administration Department in Buthidaung Township. Then, they inspected the distribution of supplies at the warehouse of the Department of Consumer Affairs.
Then, Brig-Gen Aung Kyaw Moe, currently in Sittway City, met departmental officials at the meeting hall of the District General Administration Department yesterday morning. He and officials inspected the lumbar allocation for Sittway township, which was distributed by the township-level officials to the ward administrators for systematic distribution to village administrators. Finally, Brig-Gen Aung Thu Oo and officials inspected the Hman Kyaung monastery in Kyauktaw and donated rice to members of the Sangha. — MNA/KZW
