Shan United, the Myanmar National League defending champions, have eyes on Zwekapin United’s youth defender Thet Paing Htwe, according to the MNL statement. Shan United’s head coach U Aung Naing said that the team is currently testing the football skills of the player.
“We are now testing his football skill in our football club. If he fixes with our team we want to recruit him. As for now, all the football matches are freezing and we need to wait and see upcoming conditions of the tourneys,” he added.
Thet Paing Htwe was a key player of the Zwekapin United and showed his best skill in the beginning season of the 2020 Myanmar National League.
As Shan United is looking to add more talented players in the squad as the team targets to win the championship trophy, the team is arranging to recruit Myanmar veteran defender Win Min Htut in the near future, according to the football club. —Lynn Thit (Tgi)
