Shwedagon Pagoda to host 41st Kason water pouring festival

The 41st Kason Water Pouring Festival will be held at the Shwedagon Pagoda, as announced by the Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees.
The ceremony will commence at 7 am on 22 May at the Bodhi tree located at the southeast corner of the pagoda. It will be attended by the Ovadacariya Sayadaw of Shwedagon Pagoda, members and staff of the Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees, and various religious organizations.
Religious organizations and staff will assist pilgrims in participating in the water pouring festival at the Bodhi trees situated at the four corners of the Pagoda. — TWA/MKKS
