Shwenyaung-Taunggyi railway upgrading project inspected

Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San accompanied by the Shan State chief minister, minister for transport and officials inspected the construction work of the Shwenyaung-Taunggyi railway upgrading project yesterday.
During the inspection, the Union minister met officials at the meeting room in the Pawmu Railway Station of the Shwenyaung-Taunggyi railway section and officials presented their work implementation, challenges encountered, and further plans. The Union minister gave instructions where necessary.
Afterwards, the Union minister made the inspection tour along the way of the Shwenyaung-Taunggyi railway upgrading project.
Union Minister Admiral Tin Aung San met township officials of the Ministry of Transport and Communications at the Taunggyi Railway Station in the afternoon.
The Union minister also warmly greeted local passengers who ride on the No 154 down train from Taunggyi to Banyin.
The Union Minister and his party proceeded to the Heho airport and met officials. After hearing the report from the airport in charge, he gave the necessary instructions. — MNA
