Shwesettaw Manchaung Elephant Camp gives services to travellers with skill demonstration of elephants

As a special feature of this year, officials arrange to serve the visitors to the elephant camp with skill demonstration of elephants at Shwesettaw Mannchaung Resort in Minbu Township, Magway Region, said elephant camp assistant manager U Htet Naing Aung.
The clever little elephants drawing logs, walking, wearing an umbrella and a hat and dancing are comprised in the skill demonstration. The elephant camp is decorated with growing flowery plants and trees to make the travellers enjoy relaxation and have a peace of mind. Upgrading works have been carried out with the construction of 15temporary bungalows and a bamboo bridge for visitors to view the scenery and take photos.
The elephant camp is open from 6 am to 6 pm. Entrance fees are K 1,000 per local traveller and K 10,000 per foreign tourist. Eleven guesthouses are ready to give accommodation to those who want stay overnight at the elephant camp and it can charge K30,000 per room.
Myanma Timber Enterprise established the camp next to the Padaung-Pyawbwe Road in February 2019 to attract local and foreign tourists. Travellers from near and far can visit the Mann Shwesettaw Pagoda, and if they want to take relaxation and enjoy the lash and green panoramic views, they can visit the elephant camp.—Zeyar Htet (Minbu)/KZW
