Six robbers of moving trucks arrested in Hlinethaya township

Myanmar Police Force captured six robbers, who are stealing goods in moving trucks in Hlinethaya township of Yangon Region.
Ko Thein Aung Kyaw drove a 12-wheel Canter truck heading to the Bayintnaung Warehouse in Yangon from Tet Nay Lin Terminal in Pyapon Township of Ayeyawady Region to deliver dried fish and goods at 9 pm on 7 December.
At about 6:30 am on 8 December, he reported to the Police Force near Bayintnaung Bridge No 2 on Yangon-Pathein Road in Hlinethaya township that dried fish bags from his truck were stolen by three unknown persons by motorbike behind the truck while moving. Police carried out investigations to capture the offenders.
According to investigations, Police arrested Aung Ko (aka) Kalar, who lives in Hlinethaya, who was driving a three-wheel motorbike accompanied by Khaing Shwewah behind the truck. In addition, Aye Min, Min Min, and Nga Pyae jumped out from the truck while being arrested. Those offenders were prosecuted at Hlinethaya police station with PA 967/2022 under Section 379 of the Penal Code. —TWA/MKKS
