SPTT holds talks with delegations of UWSP, NDAA and SSPP

A meeting between the State Peace Talks Team and delegations from UWSP, NDAA and SSPP was held yesterday at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw. SAC Member Union Minister at the Government Office NSPNC Chairman Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae warmly welcomed the peace delegations from UWSP, NDAA and SSPP.
Both sides mutually discussed matters pertaining to requirements, regional stability and development, the holding of elections, the holding of a peace conference, and amendments to basic articles of the 2008 Constitution. The first-day meeting was adjourned and the talks will continue on 23 March.
The meeting was attended by SAC Member Union Minister at the Government Office NSPNC Chairman Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein and members, UWSP Vice-Chair U Lau Yaku, NDAA Vice-Chair U San Pae, SSPP central committee member Sao Hsay Pein Pha and representatives. — MNA/TS
