SPTT holds third-day meeting with NMSP peace delegation

The third-day meeting between the State Peace Talks Team and the NMSP peace delegation is in progress yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.

THE third-day meeting between the State Peace Talks Team-SPTT and the peace delegation led by the vice-chairman of the New Mon State Party-NMSP was held yesterday morning at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw.
The meeting was attended by the State Peace Talks Team led by SAC Member Union Minister at the Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-NSPNC Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein and NSPNC members: Lt-Gen Min Naing and Lt-Gen Aye Win, and NMSP Vice-Chairman Nai Aung Min, Joint General Secretary Nai Win Hla, Central Executive Committee members Nai Banyar Lei and Nai Aung Ma Ngay, and representatives of the peace talks.
Both sides discussed the issues of regional development, teaching of Mon literature and general purposes.
Following the three-day discussion and negotiation, the two sides agreed and signed the final comprehensive peace agreements and exchange it with each other. Afterwards, New Mon State Party Vice-Chairman Nai Aung Min and SPTT Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae gave their closing remarks. The latter provided the former with books on Myanmar, indigenous and world affairs published by the Ministry of Information. —MNA/TS
