The delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw military airport by the special aircraft of Myanmar Airways International (MAI) on the morning of 20 June to attend the 9th Moscow Conference on International Security-2021(MCIS-2021) in the Russian Federation at the invitation of Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Army General Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu and arrived at Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow of the Russian Federation in the afternoon local standard time.
The goodwill delegation led by the Senior General was welcomed at the airport by Deputy Minister for Defence of the Russian Federation Colonel-General Alexander V Fomin, Minister Counsellor of the Myanmar Embassy to Russia U Zaw Lin Oo, Military Attaché Commodore Kyaw Soe Moe and officials.
Next, the Senior General and party proceeded to Metropol Hotel where they spent the night. —MNA
