State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits Russian Science Academy in Ulan-Ude, Siberia Branch of Mongo, Tibet and Buddhist Studies Institute, Cancer Ward in Nuclear Medicine Centre and Locomotive Workshop

State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing pays observation tours at the locomotive workshop in Ulan-Ude on 10 September 2022.

The Myanmar high-level delegation led by State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by Mr Aleksey Sambuyevich Tsydenov, the Head of State of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia and members visited yesterday morning the Russian Science Academy in Ulan-Ude, the Cancer Ward in the Nuclear Medicine Centre and the Locomotive Workshop.
First, State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his delegation members arrived at the Soviet Square in Ulan-Ude. They were welcomed by the Head of the Buryatia State Government. They posed for a group photo in front of the Statue of Mr Lenin, the historic national leader of the Soviet Union.
Then, the delegation proceeded to the Russian Science Academy in Ulan-Ude, the Siberia Branch of Mongo, Tibet and Buddhist Studies Institute where they were welcomed by Mr Bazarov Bois Vandanovich, the director of the Academy, and the responsible officials. Next, the delegation members were conducted round the Academy Campus and briefed on the ancient literature, culture and arts, the paintings, the Tipitaka Buddhist Canonical Manuscripts written in the Tibet Language, the ancient astrological texts, the documents recording the alterations and derivations of the Tibet and Mongo Languages throughout the ages and other ancient Parabaiks inclusive of the palm leaf manuscripts from Myanmar.
The explanations were listened to with great interest by SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who not just listened but raised questions. Afterwards, he put his signature on the guest books, and then, the delegation members posed for a group photo.
Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and the delegation members proceeded to the Cancer Ward in the Nuclear Medicine Centre where they were welcomed by Ms Ludupova Evgenya, the Health Minister of the State Government of the Republic of Buryatia and the responsible officials, who explained the process of diagnosing through the use of atomic ray and providing of medical treatment as well as the capacity of the medical apparatuses. The SAC Chairman Prime Minister shot questions on matters related to the potential cooperation in the health sector.
Afterwards, SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the delegation members proceeded to the locomotive workshop in Ulan-Ude where they were conducted round the locomotive workshop and briefed by Mr Olovyannikov Aleksei, the Minister of Transport of the State Government of the Republic of Buryatia, on production, repair and maintenance of the variegated types of the locomotives being done at the workshop as well as the capacity of the locomotives and fixing of the engines and accessories. The SAC Chairman Prime Minister raised questions, and had a group photo taken in front of the workshop, it is learnt.—MNA
