The 8th State Central Working Committee of Sangha continued its meeting on the second day at Maha Pasana Cave in the precinct of Kaba Aye Pagoda in Yangon yesterday.
Along with the senior Buddhist monks, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko and officials attended the meeting.
Senior monks of the committee provided consultations on religious affairs and the members of committee discussed them.
In the afternoon session, the meeting focused on organizing coordination meetings, election process of Sangha committees at various levels and annual report of State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee on disciplinary rules, religious affairs and education sector.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
