State Counsellor meets Planning and Finance Ministers

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor, met Ministers for Planning and Finance from Cabinets of Regions and States at the meeting hall of the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
In the meeting, the State Counsellor addressed the importance of coordination between government entities.
“In implementing projects, commitments of the Hluttaw need to be taken into consideration. Implementing projects is not for a party or an organization, it is just for the development of the country. So, it is necessary for all, to openly submit if there are matters to be fulfilled by the Union Government and difficulties encountered and current situations on performance and completion,” she said.
Afterwards, Ministers for Planning and Finance from Cabinets of Regions & States clarified situations on performance, completion and remaining parts of projects carried out during the 10-month period, challenges and difficulties encountered in implementing the projects, and matters to be cooperated with the Union Government.
The State Counsellor gave necessary advice on the submissions made by the Ministers.
Present at the meeting were Nay Pyi Taw Council members, and Ministers for Planning and Finance from the Cabinets of Kachin State, Kayin State, Chin State, Mon State, Shan State, Yangon Region, Mandalay Region, Ayeyawady Region, Sagaing Region, Magwe Region, Bago Region and Taninthari Region.—Myanmar News Agency
