State Counsellor receives UN’s Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator

State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs Daw Aung San Suu Kyi received Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Ms. Ursula Mueller yesterday morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters pertaining to humanitarian assistance, including humanitarian programmes to be linked with development, capacity building, education, the empowerment of women and ways and means to enhance cooperation between Myanmar and the United Nations.
Also present at the meeting was the Union Minister for International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin.—Myanmar News Agency
