State Peace Talks Team continues its second-day meeting with RCSS delegation

The third-day meeting between the State Peace Talks Team and the RCSS delegation is in progress yesterday.

The second-day meeting of the State Peace Talks Team and the Restoration Council of Shan State-RCSS delegation was held at the meeting hall of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre on 31 August morning.
The meeting was attended by SAC Member Union Minister at the Union Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and members: SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung and RCSS Chairman General Yawd Serk, Secretary (1) Sao Sai Ngin and Central Executive Committee Member Sao Saung Han.
At the second-day meeting, NSPNC member Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein clarified the agreements included in Tables 1, 2 and 3 of the Union Accord along with the findings and whether they conform with the existing laws. Later, the participants exchanged their opinions and held a mutual discussion.
Afterwards, they conferred on general matters and adjourned the meeting.
The third-day meeting will be held at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre on 1 September. — MNA
