Authorities issued additional stay-at-home orders for Myingyan township in the Mandalay region and Bilin township in Mon State on 3 August, following a rise in COVID-19 cases, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Health.
With COVID-19 confirmed cases on the rise in Myingyan township in the Mandalay region and Bilin township in Mon State, stay-at-home orders were issued in those townships.
Employees in most industries are required to work from home, except for certain industries deemed essential, such as finance, food, water, and petrol distribution, and medical.
Besides, the relevant region and state administration council should carry out the necessary supervision and essential announcement to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 disease in factories and workplaces, including CMP.
Only one member of each household may leave the house to purchases supplies, and only two may leave to seek medical care. Face masks must be worn at all times in public places.
Further, those who want to travel for emergencies must report to the relevant administration members. Those who fail to comply with this order will face serious legal action under existing laws, which will be affected from 4 August. — ACM/GNLM
