Students given milk, eggs in Mongnai primary school as part of School Milk Program

As part of the second School Milk Program, 152 students were given milk and eggs on 20 June at the Mongnai basic education primary school in Mongnai Town of southern Shan State.
At the event, each of the 152 primary students were provided a bottle of milk and two eggs by Dr. Sai Mya Kywal, the head of the Langkho District Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, U Soe Htut, Mongnai Township administrator, Daw Khine Wai Nyein, the chairman of the Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association, and other officials, according to Dr. Khin Maung Win, the head of the Mongnai Township Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department.
The School Milk Program is aimed at boosting the physical and mental growth of students, and encouraging student to drink at least one cup of milk per day,as milk contains many essential nutrients, is the best nutrient for their age, and stimulates growth. —Myo Nyunt Shwe (Mongnai)
