The Ministry of Education has announced that there will be four hospital examination centres in Yangon Region, and students who are receiving medical treatment can contact the nearest centre. The announcement says that it is planned to open four hospital examination centres in Yangon Region for students who are receiving medical treatment during the matriculation examination.
As the Ministry of Health will ensure that the rights of the students who are admitted to the hospital receiving medical treatment during the matriculation exam that will be held from 8 to 18 March 2023 are not hampered, it will be planned to open four hospital exam centres through the coordination of the Department of Treatment and the Myanmar Examinations Department.
The four centres are open at Yangon General Hospital, North Okkalapa General Hospital and Teaching Hospital, Central Women’s Hospital, and Waibargi Speciality Hospital. In addition, students who are admitted to the hospital and want to take the exam can contact the medical and social relations department of these major hospitals, the announcement stated.
More than 180,000 students from all over Myanmar will take part in this year’s matriculation exam, and the Ministry of Education has issued a notification that they should not forget to take their exam cards with them. — TWA/GNLM
