Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Win Myat Aye received a delegation from World Vision International Myanmar at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed such matters as child protection, child rights, protecting children from violence and abuse, rehabilitating street children, signing an MoU with World Vision to cooperate on combating trafficking of children, cooperating with World Vision in UEHRD’s youth volunteering programmes, supporting street children of Yangon, Mandalay and other major cities, cooperating on vocation training courses, and working together with World Vision to provide small loans to the families of human trafficking victims. — MNA (Translated by Zaw Htet Oo)
