The Task Force on Preventing Human Trafficking and Protecting Victims held its coordination meeting yesterday at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Task Force on Preventing Human Trafficking and Protecting Victims, Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Major-General Aung Thu, delivered opening remark.
Afterwards, Police Brigadier General Myint Htoo of Anti-Trafficking in Person Division of Myanmar Police Force-MPF explained about the human trafficking prevention sector’s works and processes that are included at the 2019 Work Plan.
Police Maj-Gen of MPF Myo Swe Win also explained about the suggestions related to Myanmar of the 2019 trafficking in persons report issued by the United States of America.
Then, attended members of the task force discussed matters related to the processes of dealing with preventing human trafficking and protecting victims. —MNA
