Tatkon Township commissions two upgraded roads

DSC09746Tatkon, 10 Feb — As a gesture of hailing the 68th Anniversary Union Day, a new gravel road and a new asphalt road were commissioned into service in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, on Tuesday.
The gravel road and asphalt road are 7,920 feet long and 10 feet wide each. The gravel road links Yangon-Mandalay Highway and Kyathay-aing Village. The asphalt road connects with Yangon-Mandalay Highway and
Nweyit Village.
Nay Pyi Taw Council allotted K218.558 million budget for construction of the two roads in 2014-15 fiscal year. Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee constructed the both roads.
Nay Pyi Taw Council member U Myint Shwe and officials formally opened the roads. Thanks to new roads, local people in Nweyit, Zayatgyi and Layeinsu villages enjoy fruits of better transport. Tin Soe Lwin (IPRD)
