Tatmadaw (Air) continues delivering foodstuffs, aid to Rakhine State

Relief supplies are seen being unloaded from the Tatmadaw aircraft yesterday.

Relief aid and food items contributed by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers, and relief supplies provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for local communities affected by Cyclone Mocha in Rakhine State are being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft and helicopter.
A total of 21.3 tonnes of onions, garlic, fish, eggs, vegetables, household wares and medicines donated by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers were delivered from Yangon International Airport to Sittway Airport by plane of Tatmadaw (Air).
A total of 3,315 Tatmadaw members and departmental staff who will help in rehabilitation work and 525.3 tonnes of supplies were helicoptered to the storm-battered areas.
Officials in the respective areas received relief items and will distribute them to storm victims. — MNA/KZW
