Tatmadaw (Air) continues transporting foodstuffs, relief items to Rakhine State

The relief materials and food items contributed by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers and relief supplies provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for local communities affected by the natural disaster in Rakhine State are being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft, helicopters and vessels.
Foodstuffs, medical accessories, rehabilitation accessories, and solar lamps donated by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) were transported from Nay Pyi Taw Airport to Sittway Airport one time by Tatmadaw plane.
Tatmadaw members, police force, relief teams, departmental officials, rice bags, edible oil barrels, electrolyte salts packs, purified water bottles, medicines, LED solar bulbs and foodstuffs were also transported from Mingaladon Airport to Sittway Airport six times by Tatmadaw plane.
The Yangon Region chief minister and officials checked the donations and donated food and cash.
Officials in the respective areas received relief supplies and will distribute them to storm victims. — MNA/KZW
