Tatmadaw aircraft transports vaccines to Kengtung Township

A Tatmadaw aircraft transported 14,900 units of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines and 3,008 units of Sinovac vaccines from Yangon to Kengtung in eastern Shan State yesterday.
Dr Kyaw Kyaw Linn, deputy head of Shan State (East) Medical Services and Public Health Departments and other officials received 14,900 units of Sinopharm vaccines, 3,008 units of Sinovac vaccines, needles and two laboratory refrigerators to be used in lab tests with RT-PCR machine.
A single vial of Sinopharm vaccine can be used for five people each and the needed vaccines for 80,516 people will be allocated to the townships of eastern Shan State.—Aung Zin Myint(IPRD)/ GNLM
