Tatmadaw delegates returning from Russia resume duties as results show negative for second time

The members of Tatmadaw delegation who returned from the Russian Federation tested negative for COVID-19 for second time and so they resume their duties, according to the statement of Tatmadaw True News Information Team.

The delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the 75th Anniversary of Victory Day parade of Great Patriotic War in Russian Federation and arrived at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport on 25 June evening and were placed under home quarantine and facilities quarantine at the designated places.

Then, their swab samples were tested by the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) on 30 June and 7 July and the results showed negative. So, they resume their duties starting from 8 July.—MNA (Translated by Khine Thazin Han)
