The Tatmadaw donated protective equipment and other items for COVID-19 to the New Mon State Party (NMSP) on16 May.
Brig-Gen Ko Ko Maung, commander of the SouthEast Command, and officers handed over representatives of NMSP, an ethnic armed organization signatory to the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA), at the military command headquarters and officials expressed their gratitude.
The donation includes 200 PPE outfits, 5000 surgical masks, 200 bottles of hand gel, 3000 surgical gloves, 100 goggles, and 2 cartons of disinfectants, according to news released by the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.—MNA (Translated by Zaw Htet Oo)
