Tatmadaw held a press conference at the Defence Services Museum in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
Present at the press conference were Tatmadaw True News Team Chairperson Maj-Gen Soe Naing Oo, Vice Chairperson Maj-Gen Tun Tun Nyi, secretary Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun, high ranking Tatmadaw officers from Commander-in-Chief (Army) Office and local and foreign news media personnel.
At the press conference efforts made for the peace process and conduct of Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) during the ceasefire period, status of peace and stability works conducted in Rakhine State and AA group’s destructive acts in Rakhine State were explained.
Questions raised by the news media were then answered by Tatmadaw True News Team according to news released by Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services. — MNA (Translated by Zaw Min)
