Tatmadaw (Navy) transports relief supplies to people in Mocha-hit Rakhine State

Relief items are seen being loaded onto Tatmadaw naval landing craft to transport them to Rakhine State.

a 29-metre landing craft from the Tatmadaw (Navy) left for Rathedaung yesterday morning to deliver the necessary materials to the people affected by the extremely severe Cyclone Mocha in Sittway, Rakhine State.
The landing craft carried items donated by the National Disaster Management Committee including 60 rolls of tarpaulin from World Bank 50 (5.5 metres and six metres) tarpaulin sheets from WB, nine World Bank rain tents from WB, 30 Singapore rain tents, 1,000 pieces of men’s longyi, 1,000 pieces of women’s longyi, 2,000 pieces of T-shirt, 1,000 pieces of blankets, 1,000 pieces of towel, 1,000 pieces of mosquito net, 1,000 bars of soap, 1,000 pieces of boy school uniform, 1,000 pieces of girl school uniform, 20 barrels of diesel, five barrels of gasoline (a total of 10 tonnes) from the Supply and Transport Battalion near the Yaychanpyin Creek.
Similarly, one 29-metre landing craft transported one water purifier vehicle, 80 pieces of green Canopy roof, 25 rain shelters for 60 people, eight packs of rain shelter accessories, 25 packs of rows for rain shelters, two packs of rain shelter stakes (a total of 17.5 tonnes), and another 29-meter landing craft transported one water tanker, 80 pieces of green Canopy roof, 25 rain shelters for 60 people, seven packs of rain shelter accessories, 25 packs of rows for rain shelters, two packs of rain shelter stakes (a total of 15 tonnes).
These ships loaded at Sittway and they proceeded Rathedaung via Yaychanpyin along with one more 29-metre landing craft. — MNA/KZL
