Tatmadaw (Navy) transports supplies to people in Mocha-hit Rakhine State

A 29-metre landing craft from the Tatmadaw (Navy) transported relief items, foodstuffs and utensils totalling 24 tonnes to Rathedaung and Buthidaung Ports from Yaychanpyin Port yesterday morning.
Another 29-metre landing craft transported essential utensils, rehabilitation items, and foodstuffs totalling 57 tonnes to Ponnagyun Port via Sittway.
In the afternoon, the third 29-metre landing craft transported relief items totalling 10 tonnes of supplies to Yaychanpyin Port via Sittway’s Essar Jetty.
Similarly, the fourth one conveyed hardwoods, foodstuffs, LED bulbs and utensils totalling 29.5 tonnes and the fifth one, 57 tonnes of relief items and as well as 52 rolls of tarpaulin donated by India to Kyauktaw Port via Sittway.
Likewise, MCL 3 vessel owned by MCL Company Limited which docked in Yangon transported relief items, foodstuffs, and essential utensils donated by Electricity Supply Enterprise, Ministry of Health, Myanma Timber Enterprise, Myanma Posts and Telecommunications, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, and Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation as well as Shwe Than Lwin Co totalling 1,453.56 tonnes to Sittway.
The naval vessels and MV MCL 3 vessel owned by MCL Company will hand over food products, construction vehicles and relief materials to the officials in an orderly manner.—MNA/KZL
