Tatmadaw officials donate offertories, medical items to monks, nuns

Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) officials donated rice, oil, salt, peas, COVID-19 prevention devices and offertories to the monasteries and nunneries in Paung Township in Mon State; Hmawby Township in Yangon Region; Haka Township in Chin State; Toungoo Township in Bago Region yesterday.
The military officials also donated meals to the monks and nuns in a total of 15 monasteries and nunneries in Myanaung Township in Ayeyawady Region; Haka Township in Chin State, Patheingyi Township, Pyigyitagon Township in Mandalay Region and Toungoo Township in Bago Region.
The members of the Tatmadaw Army, Navy and Air have been donating rice, oil, salt, peas and other offertories as well as providing meal and medical care to the monks and nuns in monasteries, nunneries in respective townships in respective military commands.—MNA
