Tatmadaw senior officers, officials oversee rehabilitation work in Rakhine State

Under Section 11 of the Natural Disaster Management Law, the State Administration Council declared the areas damaged by Cyclone Mocha as areas affected by natural disasters and appointed senior military officers to carry out rehabilitation activities in the areas mentioned in the announcement.
Lt-Gen Lu Aye currently in Kyaukpyu in Rakhine State along with officials inspected cleaning processes at the beach of the city’s entrance.
Lt-Gen Aye Win currently in Buthidaung in Rakhine State along with officials inspected the clearing of fallen trees and bushes in the wards and schools in Buthidaung. Furthermore, they inspected the health care services given by the mobile medical team at Ngakyeetauk village-tract.
Similarly, Maj-Gen Soe Naing Oo currently in Thandwe along with officials inspected cleaning progressions in the compound of Thandwe general hospital and they inspected the application of pesticides for dengue fever prevention at monasteries and primary schools in Ngapali Street.
Maj-Gen Aung Myo Tun currently in Rathedaung along with officials inspected the cleaning of bushes and garbage at a basic high school in the city.
Furthermore, Birg-Gen Khin Maung Aye currently in Matupi along with officials provided rice, edible oil and cash to the storm victims at the local battalion hall. — MNA/KZW
