Tatmadaw successfully wipes out KIA, PDF terrorists in Htigyaing

KIA and PDF terrorists raided Htigyaing Township of Sagaing Region on 9 November, killed locals, resorted to collecting money, committed arson attacks on houses and departmental buildings, and planted mines.
Therefore, Tatmadaw columns conducted counter-terrorism operations following the rules of engagement (ROE) and regained control of Htigyaing Township on 12 November. Tatmadaw launched the operation keeping in line with the rules of engagement (ROE)
On 12 November, terrorists committed arson attacks on houses and departmental buildings in Htigyaing Township, planted mines and retraced. Members of Security Forces are still taking security measures near the vicinity areas of the township.
During the attack, some of the security members died in action while some were injured. Moreover, the heavy and small weapons, ammunition, bombs, dead bodies of terrorists and explosives were seized. Members of Security Forces now deactivate the bombs planted by KIA and PDF terrorists, remove the debris in the township for the locals to reenter their places, repair the schools systematically and cooperate with the residents in conducting the rehabilitation processes. — MNA/KTZH
