Taxis in Yangon Region need to affix mandatory yellow sideline stickers

The Yangon Region Public Transport Committee (YRTC) has issued an announcement stating that taxis from other regions and states operating in Yangon Region, similar to City Taxis, must affix yellow sideline stickers.
The installation process is set to commence in January 2024, and after 31 January, strict measures will be enforced against taxis lacking the required yellow sideline stickers.
According to YRTC data, approximately 42,000 City Taxi have already installed yellow line stickers on both sides.
There are a total of 58,481 City Taxis registered at the Yangon Region Road Transport Department, and 55,227 City Taxis registered at the YRTC. — TWA/KZW
