Team Myanmar departs for 56th ABPS Championship

The Myanmar Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, led by Vice-Chairman U Kyaw Than, departed for the 56th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports (ABPS) Championship. The event will take place from 6 to 12 August on Batam Island, Indonesia.
The Myanmar team, which left Yangon International Airport by air yesterday morning, will compete in various categories.
Representing Myanmar in the 75-kilogramme Bodybuilding category is Ye Htun Naung, while Hein Htet Kyaw will compete in the 85-kg category. In the Men’s Athletic Physique up to 175-centimetre category, competitors include Htet Lin Ko Ko and Ko Ko Kyaw Phyo. For the Men’s Sports Physique up to 170 cm, Than Htike Oo will be the representative. In the Women’s Model Physique up to 160 cm category, Ma Ni Ni Aung will compete, and in the Women’s Athletic Physique up to 165 cm, Ma Thae Wah will be the representative.
The Myanmar team will showcase their skills and represent the country in this prestigious regional competition. — Arka Lin/KZL
