Technical, agricultural and livestock breeding subjects to be included in Grade 10 new curriculums

In the 2023-2024 academic year, there will be new course options for those who have passed Grade 9 in the 2022-2023 academic year as part of the new KG+12 system of education, Deputy Minister Dr Aung Gyi of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation said.
The Deputy Minister made the statement at the opening ceremony of the training for enhancing the skills of the teachers of technical, agricultural and livestock breeding high schools.
The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation and the Ministry of Science and Technology are working in collaboration so that technical, agricultural and livestock breeding subjects can be taught at 51 high schools in 51 districts in the 2023–2024 academic year.
The training course will last from 24 April to 18 May and 103 trainees are attending the agricultural course and 102 animal husbandry courses. — TWA/CT
