The Ministry of Health will purchase hospital equipment and medicines needed for district, station and township hospitals in 2023 through a tender system starting this month. The tender system is called for hospitals in Mandalay Region and Mon State.
The tender invitation for the purchase of laboratory equipment, X-ray medicines and medical equipment needed for hospitals was published in the state-owned newspapers.
The tender for hospitals in Mon State was invited on 5 January and the closing date will be 18 January. The tender for hospitals in Mandalay Region was invited on 9 January and the closing date will be 23 January. Licenced pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies can submit tenders. — TWA/KZW
