The State Administration Council has a five-point roadmap in the process with nine objectives being established and the development of the country is continuously undertaken.
In addition, efforts are being made through peace talks and discussions with the aim of achieving durable peace.
However, KNPP and PDF terrorists in Kayah State often commit ambush shootings and explosions against the general public in order to disrupt the peace and stability of the area.
Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) operated the UB-149 flight for Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Loikaw-Yangon — XY-AML aircraft type ATR72-600 — carrying 63 passengers and flew to the airport according to the landing procedures to land at Loikaw Airport at about 8:45 am yesterday morning.
Terrorists fired with a weapon (under verification) that hit the left part of the aircraft fuselage caused a passenger injured with a bullet on the right cheek onboard the aircraft.
The injured passenger has been admitted to the Loikaw General Hospital for medical treatment, and it is reported that the security forces are continuing to conduct security operations around the area where the incident occurred. — MNA
